The smooth realignment system will penetrate just past the cuticle to the outermost area of the cortex where the primary ingredients will realign the position of the cystine bonds. During this process, we are depositing proteins and other nourishing botanicals to condition and improve the style-ability of the hair. The system is 100% formaldehyde free and does not contain formaldehyde derivatives. Formaldehyde is a colorless, strong-smelling gas which can pose health risks to those who are exposed to it. With this treatment, color services are able to be done the same day.
